Ann Flanagan, PT, PCS has been the Director of Rehabilitation Services at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago since 2010 and a Research Coordinator at this same facility since 2006. She began working at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago in 1984 and has had a variety of roles in the rehabilitation department throughout the years. She received her Pediatric Clinical Specialist certification in 2001 and again in 2011. As a physical therapist, she is acutely concerned with the mobility, function, gait, and activity levels of children. In her current role as a Research Coordinator, she coordinates studies looking at long-term outcomes of individuals with cerebral palsy and arthrogryposis, and analyzes the current outcomes of the scoliosis specific exercise PT program.
