Evan Plowgian, M.D. is a Primary Care Sports Medicine Specialist in the Department of Family Medicine at NorthShore University HealthSystem. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. Part of the NorthShore Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Plowgian focuses on non-surgical treatment of various sports injuries, including concussion, tendinitis and osteoarthritis. He also is engaged with performance medicine.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He served his residency at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. Dr. Plowgian practices at NorthShore’s Chicago, Skokie, Glenview, Lincolnshire and Gurnee locations. His goal is to get his patients – athletes and non-athletes – back to their activities as quickly and safely as possible.
