IPTA Chief Delegate
One of the greatest opportunities of participating in IPTA events throughout my career has been to network with clinicians of so many backgrounds within our state. We have leaders in the profession in so many areas of PT practice and academia that come together to further our mission to revitalize the profession and our impact on society at the Annual Assembly of Representatives and our REVITALIZE conference.
The role of the Assembly is vital to keep a balanced conversation among our diverse membership, to bring forward decisions, policies and positions that move the profession forward in a thoughtful way. It is not always easy to realize how the impact of bylaws can directly impact you, which would make it much easier to be energized by the process. Not many are able to get excited to write or revise bylaws, but all members are impacted by the bylaws that direct our professional association. We need to all actively participate in the Assembly, whether we are an Assembly Rep or we communicate our professional concerns to the representatives of our districts to assure that each meeting of the Assembly is comprehensively addressing the issues that restrict our professional impact on society.
The REVITALIZE conference has consistently grown to bring forward cutting-edge educational experiences and opportunities to interact with these clinical and academic leaders. Not only are there evidence-based presentations, but many networking opportunities during the conference to generate new ideas and propagate the changes in practice that are suggested by the evidence, but so difficult to follow through on without the support of others and the collaboration of resources and ideas to make it work.
Block your schedule to attend REVITALIZE -it will be more than worth it!
