IPTA Vice President & IPTF President
I am very excited and honored as the incoming Vice President of the IPTA to be attending REVITALIZE 2017. Over the past few years, I have had the awesome opportunity to help plan the programming and educational sessions for the conference. The planning committee intentionally looks at what is current and relevant in the field of physical therapy/medicine and across various physical therapy settings, so we best meet the needs and interests of the members. Some of the best and brightest talent we have in our profession will be showcased in 2017!
Being in private practice and an owner, I am eager to attend some of the unique offerings for 2017 such as the lectures that include interdisciplinary speakers as well as the sessions that discuss strategies to tackle current payment models and how to best prepare for ensuing changes. Adding physician speakers was new in 2016 and received so well it was requested for 2017. This year, we have listened further to your feedback which requested that we pair a physical therapist with a physician so the continuum of care can be addressed. REVITALIZE 2017 will offer two such sessions!
I look forward to seeing familiar and new faces at this great event!
